You Capture - Outdoors!

This week's challenge for You Capture was outdoors.  I was a little nervous I would be taking pictures of rain through my living room window, but...we actually got a couple days of sun and warm!  This is what we did on the first sunny day:

Gavin tried to eat  ate grass......

while I attempted to take pictures of nature.

And here's what we did on our second sunny (and warm) day:

Bram, our dog, slept on the pattio after too many rounds of fetch...

and Logan played in the yard.

I was able to shoot in manual most of the time this week - Yeah!  Now if only I could get fast enough to keep up with my 3 1/2 year old!

P.S.  Does anybody know why my pictures turn out all "grainy" when I upload them?  Can I fix it?  Am I stuck with it?  Help!  Thanks!
